Starting date: 24 Sep 2015
Ending date: 25 Sep 2015

We’re currently taking bookings for a two-day videography course at the Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communications in Nairobi. Our course will teach participants how to tell impactful stories using video.

Participants will learn the steps to make high-quality video by themselves, using the equipment they have available.

The first day of the course covers video theory and shooting, and participants are expected to shoot a short sequence as homework to bring to the second day of study. The second day of the course will teach participants how to edit and finalise the videos using professional software.

We will adapt our approach based on the level of experience of the course participants and the equipment they have available, be that cell phones or high-end professional cameras. In addition, participants will have full access to our professional equipment for the duration of the training, including cameras, audio gear and peripherals (glide cam, jib, etc.).

Participants are asked to bring to the training a camera (can be a cell phone) and a computer with editing software.

The training costs 600USD and a discounted rate is offered to those who also book the two-day Storytelling through Photographs course.
